The owners of the former Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. mill site have renamed it to Frenchtown Technology and Industrial Center.
NBC Montana's partner, The Missoulian reports that Green Investment Group Inc. made the announcement Wednesday.
Company officials say the new name better describes the site and will help the company market it to potential tenants.
Green Investment Group bought the site in 2011 and hopes to attract companies in oil field and oil equipment manufacturing as well as chemical manufacturing companies.
