The Gallatin County Health Department reported 238 flu outbreaks across the county. This figure includes children and adults.
The Health Department said parents of small children should hurry up and get them the flu shot.
"We're running low on vaccine for really young kids," said health officer Matt Kelley.
Kelley said very young children need a special dosage of the vaccine and Gallatin County is almost out.
"I heard of some shortages, including here in Gallatin County of the vaccine for kids under two years of age," said Kelley.
Kelley stated children are one of the most vulnerable groups when it comes to the flu and another is the elderly. NBC Montana stopped by the Bozeman Senior Center. One woman said she didn't waste any time getting the vaccine.
"Oh, yes, I have upper respiratory problems. If I get the flu, I'm in big trouble," said Lesely Bredvik.
Kelley explained the health department is also running low on adult vaccines. He said as long as supplies last it's not too late to get your shot.
