A fire has destroyed a two-story home between Hamilton and Corvallis.
Corvallis Fire Chief Jim Knapp tells the Missoulian (http://bit.ly/SdIIip) that the homeowner discovered the fire in a carport Saturday. Knapp says the homeowner wasn't injured but a dog died in the fire.
Knapp says 60 firefighters from five departments responded to fire at the home he estimated to be 4,000 square feet in size.
Knapp says the cause of the fire has yet to be determined. There was no estimate on the cost of the damage.
