BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Fall leaf pick up is right around the corner.

Crews will hit city streets Monday, October 29th, just about a week from now, and move into the subdivisions on the 31st.

Storm drains are smaller in this area and more prone to plug and freeze during the winter months so, city officials come in with heavy equipment to get as many leaves as possible.

Because of the use of heavy machinery in the core area, they're asking folks to pay attention to "No Parking Street Maintenance" signs put out a day in advance.

They say parking tickets will be given out for violations.

In the subdivisions, residents are asked to put leaves in compostable paper bags.
