MISSOULA, Mont. -

Montana's first wolf trapping season is gaining popularity as available spots in the state’s mandatory wolf trapping classes are in high demand.

Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks officials recently announced a third wave of classes scheduled in Missoula, Kalispell, Anaconda, and Bozeman.

Officials said instructors won’t turn away anyone from a class in Hamilton scheduled Saturday, even though the class is full.

"We really want to do as much as we can, that's in reason, to give people an opportunity to take it,” said Wildlife Manager Mike Thompson. “The other issue is to try to give the class well, so that when people do go the trouble to take it, that they get something out of it. That's pretty important to us."

The season starts December 15th. For more information and a complete schedule, click here.
