The Montana Highway patrol says a 70-year-old Dillon man is dead and a 38-year-old Bozeman man has been flown by helicopter to a hospital after a tractor-trailer collided with their pickup on Highway 41 near Twin Bridges.
Police say David Kendall died at the scene of the crash early Friday morning. Reports indicate that Todd Kendall was taken to St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula.
Police say two vehicles were traveling north Friday morning when the tractor-trailer attempted to pass them both, striking the lead pickup when the pickup driver attempted to turn left.
Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured, nor was the driver of the middle car that veered off the right side of the road.
