BOZEMAN, Mont. -

U.S. Rep.-elect Steven Daines is assembling his top aides, starting with his chief of staff.

Jason Thielman was Daines' campaign chairman in the Bozeman businessman's win over Democrat Kim Gillan in the Nov. 6 election.

Thielman also served as Bob Brown's chief of staff from 2001-2004 when Brown was secretary of state. Thielman was a congressional district director for the U.S. House in 2007 and 2008.

Before joining Daines' campaign, Thielman was a vice president of a Colorado-based marketing company called Wiland Direct.
