MISSOULA, Mont. -

The director of UM’s Curry Health Center stepped down after pleading guilty to a DUI charge in March. Police records show 59-year old David Bell blew a .13 last November after being found in a parked, running vehicle.

Bell will continue to serve as a physician.

Administrative Director Rick Curtis will take over as interim executive director.

In addition to offering general health services for students, Curry Health Center oversees SARC, the university's Sexual Assault Resource Center.

Curtis said he looks forward to overseeing SARC’s important work.

"I look forward to the opportunity to continue to lead that process, and to work through enhancing our educational aspects on campus, as well as our service delivery aspects,” said Curtis. “I think it's one of the hallmarks of Curry Health Center, and I am proud that SARC has been here."

Curtis will start his new job July 1.
