BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Fire crews are attacking a small fire burning south of Butte and east of the town of Melrose.

According to Leona Rodreick with the U.S.  Forest Service, the Rochester fire has burned about 10 acres and is 20% contained.

The fire is being managed by the Montana DNRC.

One helicopter, one fire engine and a 20 person hand crew have been assigned to the blaze.

Rodreick says it's burning about seven miles east of the town of Melrose and crews had to hike about mile in to get to the fire.

She says no buildings or structures are threatened at this time.
