A 28-year-old Columbia Falls man who authorities say tricked a 15-year-old boy into emailing revealing photos of himself to the man has received a 10-year suspended sentence.
The Daily Inter Lake reports (http://bit.ly/12ix7BQ) that John McFadden was sentenced Thursday in Flathead District Court.
McFadden pleaded guilty in September to a felony charge of sexual abuse of children.
Police say McFadden in March 2012 told the boy he would receive $5 for each photo he sent to a girl named Sara. Sara turned out McFadden.
Police say the boy said he sent six or seven pictures and was paid each time. McFadden says he paid the boy but denied ever receiving any photos.
