BOZEMAN, Mont. -

A coal group is speaking out against a proposal to expand the scope of an Environmental Impact Statement for a shipping terminal in Washington.

NBC Montana told you about possible plans to increase coal train traffic through Bozeman from 15 trains a day to 31 trains a day.

Now, Count on Coal Montana is speaking out against a proposed letter by the Gallatin City-County Board of Health that would request the Army Corps of Engineers to expand the scope of the Environmental Impact Statement.

They say an Impact Statement is a big, complicated process and asking the Army Corps to expand it even more will take longer and cost taxpayers more money.
