A Missoula woman who had been charged with giving her husband a heroin overdose faces a negligent homicide charge because he died over the weekend.
Deputy Missoula County Attorney Jason Marks says that Lawrence Baillargeon died Friday night.
Prosecutors allege Terry Lynn Baillargeon injected her husband with heroin on Jan. 2, causing him to collapse. She attempted to perform CPR while a neighbor went for help.
Terry Baillargeon was charged Friday with felony criminal endangerment and tampering with evidence for allegedly washing the needle she used. Her bail was set at $50,000 after prosecutors told the judge that Lawrence Baillargeon wasn't expected to survive.
Marks says the upgraded charge was filed Monday. Terry Baillargeon was expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
