A 34-year-old Burley man faces several felony charges after a 10-year-old girl told investigators he tied her up and had sexual contact with her in February.
The Times-News reports (http://bit.ly/ZUokGg ) Gregg Neal Bedke is charged with kidnaping, sexual abuse, lewd conduct with a child and battery with intent to commit a serious felony.
The girl's mother told police she sometimes left the child at Bedke's house when she needed a baby sitter.
Bedke pleaded not guilty on Dec. 14. A preliminary hearing is set for Friday in Magistrate Court. The Idaho Department of Correction website lists Bedke as an inmate.
Bedke was convicted in June 2007 of felony aggravated battery after a man reported Bedke shot him. Bedke was sentenced to two to 10 years in prison.
