A person close to Gov.-elect Steve Bullock's transition team says the Democrat has chosen three people to fill leadership positions in the commerce, labor and corrections departments.
Pam Bucy will lead the Labor and Industry department. Bucy lost to Tim Fox earlier this month in the race to replace Bullock as attorney general.
Mike Batista will be named the head of the Department of Corrections. Batista is now head of the Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation.
Bullock also will tap Big Sky Resort marketing director Meg O'Leary to be the director of the Department of Commerce.
The person close to the transition team insisted on anonymity because he is not authorized to release the information.
Bullock has planned a Friday news conference announcing the appointments.
