Authorities in Flathead County say the body of a missing 22-year-old man has been found in the Flathead River and recovered.
Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry tells the Daily Inter Lake (http://bit.ly/121SxmJ) the body was found just before noon on Saturday.
Authorities say the man suffered from schizophrenia, and that he was visiting from out of state to see family.
Family members noticed he wasn't in the living room and followed footprints down the river to where they ended at the edge of the ice. He was reported missing about 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Curry says the search that evening and the next day included divers checking under the ice but a helicopter eventually spotted the body downriver.
The man's name hasn't been released.
