Authorities have confirmed a body found near Shepherd is that of an Illinois man kidnapped from a Billings hotel room.
Billings police said Tuesday an autopsy confirmed the victim as 29-year-old Dejuan Laster of the Chicago area.
A cause of death was not released, but police said earlier Laster appeared to have been shot.
He was last seen Thursday when a woman reported two men claiming to be FBI agents kidnapped him from their hotel room.
Two men are being held in the case.
James Adam Walker was arrested Saturday and faces charges of aggravated kidnapping and robbery. He is being held without bond in Billings.
A second suspect, Simon Jacobson, was arrested Monday on a probation violation in Colorado, where he remained pending extradition.
