BILLINGS, Mont. -

A 48-year-old Billings special-education teacher who police say used a fake prescription and failed to report previous prescriptions to get pain relief drugs has pleaded not guilty to four felony counts of fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs.

Koby Gayle Murray pleaded not guilty Thursday in district court.

District Judge Susan Watters allowed Murray to remain free without bond while the case is pending.

Earlier this week School District 2 officials announced Murray had been placed on administrative leave from teaching duties at Lewis and Clark Middle School.
