A Billings man has been charged with deliberate homicide and tampering in the fatal shooting of his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend early Christmas Day.
The Billings Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/Tn9MtN ) Justice Court Judge Pedro Hernandez set a $200,000 bond for 41-year-old David Isaacson in a court appearance Thursday.
Deputy County Attorney Julie Patten told the judge that Isaacson's longtime girlfriend was in a relationship with 34-year-old Sabah Mallak for three months before the shooting
She says the relationship between Mallak and Calhoun had turned violent.
Charging documents say Mallak had recently been released from jail and Isaacson had warned him to stay away. Isaacson allegedly told investigators he and Mallak had a previous confrontation three weeks earlier.
Police found Mallak's body in the street and car in a yard near Isaacson's home Tuesday.
