MISSOULA, Mont. -

Authorities have identified a man killed in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 90 as a 22-year-old Missoula man.

Missoula County officials said Tuesday that Derek Ross Nelson died at the scene after Sunday night's rollover crash.

Missoula County sheriff's spokesman Jason Johnson says the driver, 21-year-old Marcus Sickles, was thrown from the vehicle and was being treated at a hospital.

That the truck and its occupants were identified by witnesses and linked to a criminal mischief case in Frenchtown just before the crash.

Highway Patrol officials have said both speed and alcohol were factors.
