An Alberta man is the sixth to be charged with felony sexual abuse of children after investigators say he responded to an online ad offering sex with a 12-year-old girl.
32-year-old Thomas Anderson Quinton made an initial appearance in District Court on Monday.
Charging documents say Quinton responded to a Craigslist ad posted by investigators with the local Internet Crimes Against Children task force looking for a man to teach a 12-year-old girl about sex.
Court records say Quinton discussed explicit topics with someone he thought was a 12-year-old girl, traveled from Canada to meet her and had condoms in his pocket when he was arrested.
Five other men were charged with the same crime on June 28.
