HAMILTON, Mont. -- A 59-year-old Hamilton man who was recently released from prison has been arrested on what could be his 13th drunken driving offense. The Ravalli Republic reports James C. Farrell was arrested Tuesday after being pulled over for speeding through Corvallis with an open container of alcohol in his car. Court records say a preliminary breath test measured a blood alcohol level of 0.141 percent. A person is considered legally drunk with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent. Farrell appeared before Ravalli County Justice Jim Bailey Wednesday on a felony DUI and two misdemeanors. Bail was set at $20,000. The Department of Corrections placed a parole hold on Farrell as well. Farrell's probation officer says Farrell has 12 prior DUI convictions.
