MISSOULA, Mont. -- Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will speak in Missoula this Sunday. Organizers say there are 50 tickets still up for grabs and they’re confident they will sell out. Tickets to the event cost $100, and there is a total of 1,600 seats.Teen Challenge sponsors the event and hopes to raise between $50 to $100,000 from Palin's appearance. Some people who wouldn't talk to us on record weren't so happy about Palin's visit, but supporters believe she will be quite interesting. "If people from Missoula want to turn out to see her, it's a good opportunity to learn more about who she is and what she stands for," says Missoula resident Peter Metcalf.Missoula resident Walter Kero tells us "She kind of speaks my language when it comes to being smaller government and spending less of the tax payers money."Palin will speak at the Hilton Garden Inn on September 12th. Money raised from the appearance will go towards expanding Teen Challenge's kitchen.
