Online Courses Available To Montana High School Students

The Montana Digital Academy is offering online courses to all high school students in Montana for the 2010-2011 school year. Approved during the 2009 legislature, House Bill 459 aims to make distance learning opportunities available to all school age children in the state of Montana.The program will offer 44 different high school courses this year, ranging from basic math and English to advanced placement classes like Chinese and physics.The overall goal of the Montana Digital Academy is to be able to offer coursework for all school kids kindergarden through high school.The program funded with federal stimulus money and is free for students.
