Cowboys aren't the only ones roping and riding at the Western Montana Fair.

Women are getting in on the action at the third annual 'Chicks'N Chaps' rodeo clinic.

Cowboys are showing them the basics of roping. Even though they don't use a real bull, the women are getting a little riding time in too.

The 'Chicks'N Chaps' event runs one day a year at the Western Montana Fair.

Organizer, Shannone Hart says the women come to raise money for breast cancer. "We are having a women's only rodeo clinic, so women get to go into the rodeo arena and learn about the sport from real cowboys. They don't have to get on any animals at all. All of the money we raise here today stays in Missoula. None of it goes out of state, so we really are helping our neighbors and family members who are suffering from breast cancer."

Hart says this years event already has raised more than last year's amount of $30,000. This is the third year for 'Chicks'N Chaps' at the Western Montana Fair. More than 200 women attended.
