Vandals Steal From Golf Course
POSTED: 11:17 pm MDT July 27, 2010UPDATED: 11:23 pm MDT July 27, 2010Police think vandals are to blame for thousands of dollars worth of damage to the King Ranch Golf Course in Frenchtown.The Missoula Sheriff's Office tells the News Channel the vandalism has been going on for months.They say someone stole gas from the golf carts, broke motion sensor lights, and took flag sticks from course greens.Sheriff's deputies report they do not have any suspects.They ask anyone with information to call crimestoppers at 406-721-4444.

A small Bozeman school is competing in a nationwide Facebook contest and is close to going all the way. Kohl's Department Store is giving $500,00 to each of the top 20 school that get the most votes. As of early this afternoon, Mt. Ellis sat at number 17.
A Flathead High School student beat out thousands of others hoping for a scholarship to the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Steve Prunty placed third in a competition and won a full ride scholarship.
