Drivers should steer clear of Reserve Street in Missoula Wednesday and Thursday.One lane will be closed over the Reserve Street bridge.Department of Transportation crews will close one northbound lane this Wednesday and Thursday (July 21st and 22nd).Then, next Monday and Tuesday (July 26th and 27th), inspectors will close one southbound lane of the bridge.Crews will start at 8:00 am. They hope to wrap up by the late afternoon commute.This is the regular inspection the Department of Transportation gives to Montana bridges every two years.Doug Moeller/Montana Department of Transportation: "We won't have a catastrophic event because we haven't looked at it. We routinely look at these bridges. We basically know the life of them and if we have to schedule any repairs."Crews finished their inspections on the Russell Street bridge in Missoula today.
