Two men accused of posing as FBI agents to rob, kidnap and kill an Illinois man have denied several felony charges.
Simon Elliot Jacobson and James Adam Walker both pleaded not guilty Friday to kidnapping and deliberate homicide in the death of Dejuan Laster, who most recently lived in the Chicago area.
Prosecutors allege the 28-year-old Jacobson hatched the plan to pose as FBI agents to kidnap and rob Laster, who was shot to death. He also pleaded not guilty to aggravated kidnapping and 11 robbery charges filed after police say Jacobson told them he committed 10 recent armed robberies in the Billings area and one in Livingston.
Walker, who is 32, also denied a charge of aggravated kidnapping by accountability.
Both men remain jailed in Yellowstone County.
