BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Two people are dead after a late night crash in Gallatin County Sunday night. It happened near mile marker 24 on Montana Highway 84.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office says the crash killed 54-year-old William Oldroyd of West Yellowstone and 24-year-old Jada Krusniak of Big Sky.

Montana Highway Patrol Dispatch reports that at about 10:47 p.m. William Oldroyd failed to negotiate a slight right turn.  After drifting into the eastbound lane, his 2007 Mercedes SL 550 slammed head-on into a 2001 Subaru Legacy. Jada Krusniak was the only occupant in the Subaru.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and both were pronounced dead on scene.

Conditions were bare and dry.  It is unknown if alcohol or speed were factors.
