Cascade County officials have filed charges in District Court against a 15-year-old boy suspected of raping and choking an 11-year-old girl while she was on her way home from school.
    
County Attorney John Parker says the charging document filed Thursday includes two counts of sexual intercourse without consent, aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping.
    
Court records say the boy lured the girl into an alley by stealing her hat. The girl told officers he hit her in the face, breaking her glasses and knocking her to the ground. She said he sexually assaulted her, put her in a choke hold and told her he would kill her if she told anyone.
    
The court hasn't scheduled a transfer hearing to determine if the boy can be tried as an adult.
