First Alert 48 Hour Forecast

A cold front marched through Montana today, bringing a few rain, snow and graupel showers along with very gusty west southwest winds.  Those winds will diminish after sunset as a more tranquil pattern sets up for tonight.  With clearing skies in some areas overnight, it will be a cold with lows dropping into the 20s to around 30.

After a cold start, a nice day is expected Saturday with mostly sunny skies.  However, by afternoon high clouds will move into areas west of the divide as another fast moving Pacific front moves into the Pacific northwest.  It will move through the region Saturday night, bringing gusty winds again and a slight chance of a sprinkle or shower, with the best chance across northwest Montana.  Partly sunny and breezy Easter Sunday with highs in the 50s to lower 60s.

Warmer Monday with highs in the 60s to around 70.  Enjoy the day because a strong storm system will bring a good chance of rain and snow and colder weather late Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
