MISSOULA, Mont. -

A representive for Verizon Wireless confirms that service has been restored, after a temporary cell phone service outage in parts of Flathead County.

The outage appeared to begin early Thursday morning. Verizon crews responded to fix the issue.

Viewers told NBC Montana the outage included parts of Bigfork. We visited the town and checked in with local businesses. Many reported service had been restored by early afternoon.

Isacc Incoronato, at the Village Roost, said the outage was a major inconvenience for business.

"Hard to get in touch with employees and I had deliveries coming in -- I had beer orders, I had food orders. I have all of these delivery drivers who call me in the morning to make sure I can let them in and schedule everything," Incoronato said.

If customers still need assistance, they can call Verizon from a landline, at 1-800-922-0204.
