High pressure remains in control today. Sunshine and warmer temperatures will be felt area wide. High temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s, with a locations will reach the 80 degree mark by Thursday. The dry skies and warmth will be short lived. High pressure will breakdown for the end of the week.  A few showers are possible late Friday, with isolated showers Saturday. Another disturbance will spark off showers Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will drop back into the 50s and 60s early next week.

With the warming trend this week, rivers will continue to rise to near bank full by Saturday. The Stillwater, Flathead, Clark Fork, Bitterroot and Yaak Rivers west of the divide will rise to near minor flood stage by the weekend.
