BOZEMAN, Mont. -

A judge set bond at $50,000 for a Manhattan man accused of breaking his infant daughter's leg.

Court documents say 24-year-old Alexander Callantine brought the 6-week-old girl to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital last night after reportedly hearing "popping and grinding" in the baby's leg following a diaper change.

Medical staff at Bozeman Deaconess told investigators the injury looked like child abuse.

Court records say Callantine admitted to "normally handling the baby more roughly than he probably should."
