KALISPELL, Mont. -

The following press release was sent out by the Kalispell Police Depart

On May 13th, 2014 at 1:25 a.m., the Kalispell Police Department received a report of a residential burglary that had just taken place in the 1700 block of 5th Ave E. The reporting party advised he had heard what sounded like his front door closing. As he was checking on the source of the noise, he heard his vehicle unlock in the driveway.

He then observed someone leaving the area in his vehicle. Kalispell Police Officers searched the area for the stolen vehicle and located it near Dry Bridge Park.

A Kalispell Police Officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver failed to yield resulting in a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit ended in an apartment complex just off Kelly Road when the vehicle came to a stop. All three occupants in the vehicle fled on foot. Two of the three suspects were apprehended in short order. The third suspect was not initially located, but arrested later in the day by Kalispell Police Officers.

All three of the suspects are juveniles ranging in age from 13 to 16 years old. The following charges have been filed with the Flathead County Youth Court Services:

  • Burglary (felony)
  • Motor Vehicle Theft (felony)
  • Eluding a Peace Officer
  • Obstructing a Peace Officer
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Reckless Driving and Driving with No Driver’s License
