Glacier Park International Airport has added another new flight to their growing lineup.
Nonstop service will be offered in the winter from Kalispell to Chicago on United Airlines.
Last month the airport set a new record for passenger volume with over 35,000 travelers in the month of July alone.
Last year was a record year overall for the airport and Airport Director Cindi Martin tells us she expects things to continue the way they are.
"The airport's on track for another record year. We had a record year in 2013. We're looking for that again in 2014 and we're actually starting to see these numbers surge in the industry across the country, so I think people have figured out how to live in this economy, and they're starting to fly again," Martin said.
The new flight is expected to begin December 20 and will fly every Saturday out of GPI until April 4.
