KALISPELL, Mont. -

Authorities have confirmed that a Creston toddler accidently drowned when she fell in a mop bucket in her home.

The Daily Inter Lake reported Friday the Montana State Crime Lab completed its autopsy on 11-month old Mariella Dallimata, who died Aug. 2.

The autopsy confirmed the fluid in her lungs was the same as the fluid in the bucket, and there was no sign of abuse.

Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry says it is protocol to send the body to the crime lab in Missoula whenever there is an infant death.

The girl died 10 days before her first birthday.
