First Alert 48 Hour Forecast

Strong high pressure will dominate western Montana's weather through early next week. In Missoula and Kalispell, inversions will strengthen through Monday. While skies remain mostly clear, fog will form each morning. Sunday, the fog may have a difficult time burning off, with faint afternoon sunshine. Due to the higher sun angle this time of the year, however, most the fog will give way to hazy afternoon sunshine. Butte will see some patchy fog as well, but skies will remain clear at night and mostly sunny during the days. Bozeman will enjoy sunny days and clear nights through the weekend. Highs lowering to the upper 20s and lower 30s in Missoula and Kalispell, but warming into the 40s in Bozeman.
