BOZEMAN, Mont. -- Usually, social networking is forbidden during class time.
But for this group of students, logging on to Facebook is today's assignment.
Students in Mrs. Ojeda's class get ten minutes online, ten minutes that could pay off in a big way.
"It's an exception, they don't normally get to use Facebook," said Ojeda.
It's all to win a Facebook contest and money for their school.
Kohl's Department Store is giving out $500,000 to each of the top 20 schools that get the most votes.
But with a school of only 63 high school students, you have to be creative to stay at the top.
Along with garnering community support, the kids also produced a series of You Tube videos.
All the videos draw attention to the main reason why Mt. Ellis needs this money.
"We know we are on borrowed time, we know with every month, every year that passes, is another year closer to being in a crisis situation," said Darren Wilkins, principal.
The school's plumbing system was built in the 1950's and needs updating. Half a million dollars means they could replace the whole system.
But with only one day left in the contest, it's crunch time for this little Bozeman school to win a big prize.
