BOZEMAN, Mont. -- Montana State University brought its Bobcat spirit to the streets of downtown Bozeman today.MSU President Waded Cruzado led the first "Meet and Greet" event. Cruzado along with other school staff members and the marching band strolled down Main Street.Cruzado says she decided to do the event to embrace the community the week before school. They stopped inside different businesses to play their famous fight song.This is Cruzado's first fall season as president."We are so excited," said Cruzado. "We're about to welcome one of out biggest classes in the history of Montana State University... we have wonderful sports, and students are back and we just want to let people know we have a wonderful school, let's celebrate it!"

NBC Montana confirmed 34-year-old Jeremy Mata was arrested in Mt. Vernon, Wash., Tuesday.
Skagit County jail officials said Mata was arrested and being held for being a fugitive of justice in Montana and is wanted for homicide.
National Geographic named Bozeman as one of the world's 25 best ski towns.
