Angels 7, Phillies 2
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Los Angeles scored seven runs in the sixth inning, started with a home run by Kole Calhoun, in a win over Philadelphia.
Calhoun also drove in the seventh run of the inning with a single. Every Angel in the lineup either had a hit or scored a run in the inning, except for Mike Trout and Erick Aybar. Trout struck out twice in the inning.
All the offense benefited Angels starter C.J. Wilson, who got his first win since June 24. Wilson had an 11.03 ERA over his previous six starts, but gave up two runs on seven hits and two walks in 6 2/3 innings against the Phillies, improving to 9-8.
