Almost a week after the Montana State men found their new head coach, Montana Tech announced Monday they have found their new women's head basketball coach.

Former Carroll College assistant, Carly VanDyke, has been named the next women's head coach at Montana Tech.

VanDyke, a native of Chester, MT, has been serving as an assistant at Central Washington University. She spent eight seasons as an assistant coach at Carroll College and also attended Carroll, where she played basketball for the Fighting Saints.

VanDyke is replacing DeAnn Craft, who resigned following the firing of athletic director Charles Bradley in January.

Assistant Lindsie Wilson filled in for Craft the remainder of Tech's 2013-14 season, but did not apply for the position following the season.
