BILLINGS, Mont. -

Authorities say a 28-year-old woman died in a rollover crash near Pryor, but her 2-year-old son survived with minor injuries.

The Billings Gazette reports the Big Horn County coroner identified the woman as Nikki Dillon of Pryor, though she recently lived in Crow Agency.

Montana Highway Patrol officials say she was driving east on Highway 91 when she veered off the road, overcorrected and rolled down a steep embankment.

It is not clear when the crash happened. Dillon was last seen on Tuesday night, and the vehicle was spotted Wednesday afternoon.

Dillon was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. The boy was restrained in a child seat.

The boy may have been strapped in the car for up to 19 hours before he was found.
