Missoula County fire officials with the Missoula County Fire Protection Association have restricted all outside debris burning starting Tuesday, July 8t All burning permits will not be activated until the restriction is lifted.

The weather forecast calls for continued hot, dry days with temperatures in the high 80s and mid 90s this week and next. People who burned this spring should check on their piles to make sure they are fully extinguished.

While there are no other restrictions at this time, fire officials urge people to be careful with fires and double check before recreating in Montana. Campfires are still permitted.
