Employers could take their pick of applicants at a job fair at the University of Montana. Eight-hundred-fifty students came looking for work.

Thirty-six employers interviewed. Most of the jobs were part time.

From nine to noon, Best Buy visited with more than 50 students. A huckleberry jam manufacturing company had 30 candidates in an hour and a half.

Nursing students Selina Frank and Steven McNelley plan on getting married. They need part time jobs.
