Woman In Jail After Violating Terms Of Release In Fatal Hit-And-Run

The woman accused of hitting and killing a man in 2008 in East Missoula is in jail for violating terms of her release.

Katie Garding of Stevensville had been released but prosecutors say she contacted witnesses in the case she was ordered not to have any contact with, smoked marijuana and drove without a license.

Garding's charged with negligent homicide in connection to the death of 25-year-old Bronson Parsons New Years Day of 2008.

Parsons and a friend were walking home along Highway 200 early New Years Day, when Garding allegedly hit Parsons.

Garding's being held on $30,000 bond.
