FIRE WEATHER WARNING for the Gallatin, Beaverhead and Deer Lodge National Forests. This includes forests from the Butte and Salmon areas east into Bozeman. West southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph along with humidities ranging from 10 to 20 percent. This will create extreme fire conditions.
We are tracking a cold front that will bring gusty winds and a chance of rain to areas west of the divide. Highs in the 60s in Kalispell, the 70s in Missoula and Butte to the 80s in Bozeman.
Unsettled weather Thursday through Saturday. Variable cloudiness with a chance of showers. Highs in the 60s to lower 70s Thursday and the upper 50s and 60s Friday and Saturday. Lows dropping to the 30s to lower 40s by the weekend.
Labor Day weekend will include a small chance of showers for Sunday and Monday. Highs gradually warm into the 60s and 70s.
