A 21-year-old Victor man faces a slew of charges, including attempted deliberate homicide, after allegedly almost running over a sheriff's sergeant in a high-speed chase Monday evening.
Bond for Logan James Brown was set at $200,000, with alcohol monitoring.
A court report said Brown led officers in a high-speed pursuit over rural roads north of Darby, and Hamilton's west side, and along Highway 93 South.
The report said, at times, Brown was driving over 100 miles an hour, and almost caused numerous accidents.
Several law enforcement officers became involved in the pursuit. The court report said Brown ignored officers' warnings to stop and eluded spike mats until his car finally quit.
The report said a passenger in the car told officers the two had been drinking alcohol since noon Tuesday.
Brown is serving a 6-month suspended sentence for driving under the influence of alcohol, while under the age of 21.
His driver's license had been suspended.
