MISSOULA, Mont. -

The search continues for a missing kayaker on Flathead Lake.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office told us the search for Dr. Robert McDonald resumed Thursday morning at 7:16. Officers are at the shoreline with cadaver dogs, to see if they can pick up on anything. The search was called off Wednesday due to weather.

Searchers are using sonar to scan the lake for his body. McDonald went missing Saturday on his kayak.

Boaters recovered a kayak that resembles McDonald's, but officials don't know if it's the same one.

The last time McDonald was seen was Saturday afternoon when he texted a picture of himself on the water.
