In June of 2013, Adam Painter put down the weather clicker for awhile to read the news instead.  He is now a morning news anchor for NBC Montana Today.

Adam isn't your cookie-cutter news anchor.  He's got a bit of a different perspective since his degree is from Iowa State University in meteorology.

Adam originally began his career in Big Sky Country in December of 2004 as the morning meteorologist for NBC Montana Today.  After a two year run, he took his weather skills to WREX-TV in Rockford, Illinois to continue being a morning meteorologist.

Adam's career then took a U-turn in July 2009 when he returned to NBC Montana to step into the weekend meteorologist position.

He has now planted firm roots in the Treasure State by marrying a Missoulian and expanding a family that includes three growing boys and a boy dog. Yes, his wife is outnumbered.

Email him anytime or follow him on Facebook or Twitter.
