Tuesday night, the Manhattan School Board approved Chris Grabowska taking over as the high school's new head football coach.
Grabowska was an assistant coach under Dale McQueary.
The board placed McQueary on administrative leave in September following allegations he mismanaged district fund raising activities.
The final report alleged McQueary failed to deposit more than $8,300 in a school fund raising account in 2011.
The documents state McQueary returned all but around $250 of it.
In February, the board voted unanimously to open up the high school football coaching job.
According to the school's website, Grabowska teaches sixth grade at Manhattan Junior High School.
Tuesday's board agenda also included Dale McQueary resigning from his junior high math teaching position.
